I've been tracking the trailers released on PSN of this game, and TBH, it looks pretty awesome. The newest one are actual in game footage, and it just looks too cool. I am seriously consider this one, as it does not seem like the standard shooter!

yeah it looks really fun, it's most likley going to be a day 1 buy for me, and the release date got moved up from June 9th to May 26th over here so that's pretty awesome also. It's being made by Sucker Punch, the same guys who made the Sly Cooper franchise, those games are really good also.

they're planning on releasing a demo, over here it's like the Killzone 2 scheme; pre-oder it from a certain store and get access to the demo a few weeks early, if you don't pre-order i think they're going to release the demo to public the thursday before or the thursday after it's released. Not really into the demo scene though, i just go out and buy it.......after i read the reviews of course

They really show be better at releasing demo's of games, especially when they have the framework in place (PSN). It is a great way for publisher to create publicity about their games and showing the public what they get. And they should put some effort into the demo as well, the KZ2 demo really put me off it, while the FEAR 2 demo was pretty awesome and when I played the game I realized that there were actually an effort put in to it, and that it spanned over several levels.

yeah i'm sure they'll at least give you more than a couple of powers to experiment with, it's a demo of an open world superpower game so i'm sure they'll give you a time limit and all the powers to fuck around with until demo is over with.

They just released a new trailer also, well it's new to me, i have no clue if it's been released on PSN yet

But this could effect future demos and other packages though from third party games, i already know EA gave the 360 an exclusive March Madness package for their NCAA Basketball 09 game.....and you know EA they never release anything exclusively to one console, so maybe this is a big deal.

For all I care, EA can have their games exclusive to the PSOne, they have too bad of a track record for me to get excited over anything they release. Even their flagships like Fifa and NFS are suffering under the increased pressure of virtually no QA period. Ubisoft is getting there as well, too bad, as Ubi have released some good titles over the years.

But exclusives are getting less and less important, and right now all they show is which company wants to pay the developers the most amount of money to stay exclusive. What is more interesting is which platform will get the most "primary games" and which will get the ports.

I plan on getting it, but it's not a day 1 for me unfortunately.

I was watching a Dave Jaffe where he was moaning about the lack of usage of PSN, he says that people aren't really aware of PSN compared to the Xbox Marketplace where they have to sign up for if they want to go online, or something to that effect. Will try and find the videos on youtube, they are actually pretty good views.

got a 9/10 from the official playstation mag, i know it's a playstation mag reviewing a ps3 exclusive but they gave Killzone 2 a 9 or 10, and they gave MGS 4 a 10 and they were pretty spot on with those reviews so here's hoping other reviewers follow suit.

Reviews means very little, at least the overall score. I get a better impression reading forum posts etc of users playing the game... I never over research a game before I get it, I just go with a gut feeling and a few trailers, and most of the time I win :)
