Final Fantasy XIII

Not interested in this game at all, FFVersusXIII is where it's going to be at for me, but the demo is streaming live so i figure i would put it up for those interested in it....i'm not sure how justin.tv works so i don't know if the video will still be up in after the dude is done playing the demo or not. The graphics were amazing though

just saw the trailer of FFVersusXIII on the demo and it looks sick graphics wise, i have no idea what the characters are saying to each other (no voice and japanese subtitles don't help) but i can't wait for it

I'll be getting both. But i too think Versus looks better. I like the dark approach of the game.

i don't like the gameplay of the FF's they're too slow for me, i think all turn based rpgs are way too boring for me. I tried out FF7, FFX, and FFX-2 (even bought that one) but i disliked all of them. I'm waiting on FFVersusXIII because it's going to be similar to Kingdom Hearts, which is probably the most fun i've ever had with a rpg game.

But the FFXIII demo is exclusive to ps3 but it's only being released with the Final Fantasy VII Advent Children blu ray in Japan....so if you want to play it bad then you'll have to import and learn how to read japanese since all the text was in japanese in the battle menu. No clue how this dude got the blu ray early because i don't think it's been released in japan yet.

There was a HUGE article in the Official UK PS Magazine this month on FFXIII and they basically went to Japan to play it with the Dev team. They explained what the attacks were in the bottom left, lift, fire, attack and fira, you get a set amount of points per round and each attack takes a number of points off ie lift (launches them in the air), attack, and fire cost 1, then fira costs 3, but you can link the commands together ie lift>fire>attack gives you a combo and I believe increased damage. Sounds pretty interesting.

no you twat! Their was an article on the other side of the page that the publishers needed to remove so it resulted in ALL of the copies of the magazine having the last page of their FFXIII article removed too... so shut up you moron!
